Statistical Consulting Center (SCC) is an educational and service unit which functions to provide statistical advice, statistical analyses,project management, and data management for the university and private research community.
Center for Astrostatistics is an interdisciplinary center to serve the astronomy and statistics community worldwide, in part through a multifaceted web site.
The Penn State Department of Statistics offers undergraduate majors and minors in statistics. Because of the small number of students in the major, the flexibility of our undergraduate program, and the career opportunities available for students trained in statistics, the undergraduate program in statistics at Penn State is an appealing course of study.
We also offer two master's level Graduate degree programs, a Master of Science in Statistics and a professional Master of Applied Statistics. Our Master of Applied Statistics Program is available in residence at University Park and online through World Campus. In addition to our Graduate Program the Department of Statistics also offers Graduate students a Minor in Statistics for resident students and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics for online students.
PhD. candidates are invited to apply to the Doctorate in Statistics Program or our Dual degree in Statistics and Operations Research Programs.
