Methods" was held on 25 and 26 April 2003. At
the workshop James O. Berger, Arts and Sciences Professor
of Statistics at Duke University, gave
the Krishnaiah Memorial Lectures. Bradley Efron,
the Max H. Stein Professor in the Department of Statistics
at Stanford University,
was awarded
the C.R. Rao Prize for outstanding
research in statistics.
